What a gem of a place! I came here for one last brunch before moving out of London and it was just what I needed. The food was amazing, so much flavour on a waffle! And the staff are super friendly, especially Kerry who was just a ray of sunshine greeting you at the door Can’t wait to be back in London to try another waffle
Booked a table for 3 for 12.30pm.it was busy so recommend getting a booking if possible but walk ins also fine. I had the Buffalo Waffalo which was delicious and really filling. Also had the hash browns as a side
Had such a great time when I came with my book club. Kerry was really friendly and attentive, making sure we always had drinks (we had the bottomless brunch). The food was incredible! Will definitely be back!
Being Coeliac I was in complete food heaven, so had to make the most of this opportunity & have both savoury & sweet waffles. It was all absolutely divine & can’t wait to visit again when back in London. I always eat out with trepidation as always seem to face so many barriers, but at Utter Waffle it was fantastic to know that the whole kitchen is a gluten free environment. 10/10 you have made my day & our puppy enjoyed his ice cream too!
Stunner of a place, in every aspect. Been meaning to visit Utter Waffle for ages and was so excited to finally go, have to admit - they didn’t disappoint. The food was sooo tasty. Menu is creative, fun and nostalgic. Amazing dietary options! Something else that we loved, the atmosphere is retro, rustic and beautifully welcoming to queer folks. Won’t stop going until I’ve tried everything on the menu at least once! See you again soon UW! X
Long time instagram voyeur, first time taster - and to say expectations had been set high would be an understatement. I was preparing myself to be slightly disappointed, as no way could the flavour be as good as the perfectly crafted photos. But oh wow, somehow it exceeded my unrealistically high expectations I got the G.O.A.T and it really was the greatest in everyway - from the perfectly crisp waffle to the generous portion of caramelised goats cheese, all balanced with a sweet chutney and tart beetroot puree. The coffee was excellent and the friendly service was the cherry on the cake. Worried for my wasteline as this will certainly not be my last visit.
An amazing gem in Balham! It was my first time visiting here and it was an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing! You have vegan friendly options which were fab! I would definitely recommend the James, Jules and the Giant Peach along with the Bombay Bicycle Club! These both were delicious!
Delicious, moreish waffles which taste as good as they look. The space is small but they use it well and the staff were helpful and friendly. Plus, it's all gluten-free which is very impressive. Sure we will be back.
